Quite often I’d like a fork to inherit its parent’s collections.
(There are probably cases where we wouldn’t want that, so you may already have ruled this out.)

This is what I want almost every time too.
Neat idea! The thought hadn’t occurred (at least to me) before. I’ve opened an internal ticket to discuss some options.
