I thought you might be interested in this dataset. Later last week Google released world wide reports on community mobility, here if you haven’t see it https://www.google.com/covid19/mobility/. The data is pretty interesting and hopefully useful to convince local governments to take action against COVID-19.
Luckily Kyle McDonald made a script to parse approximated the chart images back to data.
Here is my first experiment, I think a heat map would be most suitable, but this is what a I’ve manage to do
