I just signed up with an account to ObservableHQ. But when I try to sign in (here), it tells me to follow the link emailed to me. So I do that and it tells me “Sign in link expired or invalid. Please try again” even though it’s less than a minute.

It turns out the problem occurs when I try to login from one browser and the link opens in a different browser. I set my default browser to be consistent with the one I usually use and the problem no longer arises.
