The Observable Podcast is now a podcast

The term “podcast” was alienated from its putative host device almost as soon as it was coined, and now seems to describe almost any sort of recorded conversation. Since April we’ve been sporadically recording a “podcast” and posting it to YouTube, but it hasn’t had an RSS feed*, so you haven’t been able to subscribe in the normal ways. Now you can!

See all episodes or subscribe however you please:

Our latest episode may be my favorite yet, because I got to talk to Julio about his books.

You may notice that we haven’t been recording with the pure audio listener in mind; we’ll get better at describing what we’re pointing to. We’ll be publishing more consistently, and we’re going to have some guests. Let us know what you’d like to hear!

*Except for @pjpscriv.co.nz’s unofficial feed. Thanks for plugging our gaps Peter!

(When I get self-conscious, I always think of that Family Guy episode where Peter Griffin and his friends at the Clam are having some stupid conversation and say, hey, this should be a podcast!)
