Today, we announce the evolution of our paid offerings, which will include 3 products for those who need to do their data work in private.
- Pro Individual will enable individuals to work in private with databases and secrets.
- Pro Team will give users the ability to edit and collaborate in private using secure data sources. Users will gain everything from Observable Free, plus unlimited private notebooks, databases, secrets, cloud files and a free trial.
- Enterprise will also offer everything from Pro Teams, plus custom team onboarding, advanced SSO authentication, robust security, and priority customer support.
Existing and new Observable customers will be automatically opted into a free trial Pro Individual account which will remain active until December 1, 2022. At the end of the trial period, users will be able to continue working in their paid Pro Individual account, or convert to a Free Individual account and work in public at no cost.
If users choose to convert to a Free account, all of their private notebooks will remain private, and will only become editable if they choose to make them public. Note: existing paying Teams will be converted to Pro Teams and existing Enterprise teams will remain as-is. Here is a full FAQ with more detailed information.
