What’s the best way to embed an Observable chart into Google Slides? Is a png export the only approach or is there something else that would work well?

Googling around a bit, it looks to me like you can’t even embed an iFrame into a Google Slideshow. If you can’t do that, then I’m sure you can’t put arbitrary Javascript into it. Ref:
