We have a new “Release notes” collection for the new Observable:

I’ve backfilled entries for the weeks since our “soft launch”; going forward, we’ll publish a round-up each Friday. Recent changes include:

  • Jump to definition with Mod-J
  • Cut, copy and paste cells in selection mode Mod-X, Mod-C, and Mod-V
  • Programmatically attach files with FileAttachment.attach(file)
  • Choose your Claude model in chats

Other improvements:

  • The agent no longer uses emoji when conveying data provenance.

Now everyone can have Sims-style patch notes.
