Gallery of Plot examples with Observable 2.0

As part of the process of converting my teaching materials to use ‘pure’ Observable 2.0 notebooks, I have assembled the following gallery of examples. This may be useful for others moving from ‘OJS’ to JS/TS cells with the new library. They are mixture of examples converted from other libraries (e.g. Vega-Lite), adaptations of some Plot examples, and original plots. They are listed in approximate order of sophistication.

This is great. It’s interesting you gravitate toward enclosing cells in curly braces, presumably to prevent variables from leaking into the global scope; I sometimes do that too. (I still miss the bijective simplifying paradigm that one cell has one value! Though that always hand-waved how views worked.)

We really haven’t curated our examples well, but we have this collection of Plot / D3 examples @Fil rewrote to use idiomatic 2.0 patterns. Which itself was drawn from the gallery we ported last year for the “tech preview” of Notebook Kit.
