My group is looking to add a second front-end developer experienced with Observable, d3 and React. If you’ve ever wanted to work closely with data scientists, quants and financial analysts - without being one yourself - this is your chance. We build tools that use a variety of data sources (such as market data, text and transcripts, ESG, macroeconomics) to help financial professionals make investment decisions.
Must be well versed in d3 and React and have work samples to show. Experience with Observable is a big plus but, to be precise, what we use is the runtime and associated libraries. Must be based in NYC. The environment is rather corporate, which normally isn’t my cup-o-tea (I’m the other UI developer btw), but the office is pleasant (at the top of 30 Rock), the work/life balance is very reasonable, and the benefits are great.
