We’re excited to announce the first beta release of Observable Plot, a new open-source library for exploratory data visualization. It’s concise enough that many charts are just one line of code, but it also has the expressiveness to compose intricate multilayered graphics.
You can read the announcement or start learning. We’ve also prepared two guided tutorials exploring data on penguins or weather, and observations from our own experience of how it compares to Vega-Lite and how it compares to D3.
We will be holding a live Plot workshop on May 18th at 9AM PT. We hope to see you there!
This is just version 0.1.0, and we’re excited to hear your feedback!
