There is an issue, when exporting SVG as PNG, and this issue can be worked around.

Interesting! It appears that the issue is browser specific. I can download your foregnObject based pic in Firefox but not in Chrome.
Looks so, I was thinking Firefox also had an issue, but looks like it’s ok
