LIDAR image segmentation w/ outputs shared on Observable

Hi Community!

I will be running a short-term project soon that aims to extract features from LIDAR data obtained from a helicopter fly-over of a rural area and I’m looking for help! The approach is very open: we’re just looking for results (vectorized polygons, points, and lines of e.g. agricultural plots, buildings, roads, river courses, forest areas, etc). We intend for the final outputs to be shared via Observable (and therefore also happy for help from those who know techniques for optimizing speed for rendering maps to the web).
