FYI we just announced new features to improve collaboration in the notebook with others. This feature enables multiple people to co-edit and collaborate in cells, similar to Google docs editing. The Observable team has been testing this feature, using it internally for the past few months and are now looking for your feedback.

OMG! I just discovered the Next version also has multiple cursor editing!
As well as being able to select multiple areas of text selection.
Plus you can select text using Column (box) selection.
Yes, the 
doesn’t describe that well. posting an issue about that.
But, it’s still awesome!
The ‘classic’ version of Observable also has multi-cursor editing.
So it does, I guess I just didn’t see that until now. I thought I checked the classic mode before testing, my mistake. Still it’s new to me.
