I realise there are many many Sankey chart libraries out there, but in preparing my teaching materials I needed to create an Observable 2.0-friendly version of SankeyChart. In doing so I ended up creating a version with a few enhancements and improved documentation. It should remain backwardly compatible with the old API and may be useful for others converting to 2.0
