There’s a AWS hackathon open right now, From Zero to Shipped (closes Oct 2). I stumbled across it on Sept 22 and decided to compete. Since I am using Observable Framework for my build, I thought I’d share here.
Introducing Veggie.Farm (or, more precisely Veggie Farm Studio)–a data-driven application to help gardeners such as myself to make more informed decisions. It’s a bit silly (the whole challenge runs 2 weeks to make up something and deploy it). It’s also much vibe coded. But I am having fun and figured it may be an interesting example for folks here of how complex and versatile a Framework app can be.
I’m publishing the code here if you’d like to check it out. If you have an AWS Builder account and think it’s a fun idea, I’d be grateful for a thumbs up! If you have suggestions for improvement (and there are many areas to improve), I welcome the feedback! If you are inclined to code (or vibe code) to improve or extend the app and push up some changes, I would be open to adding team members! There’s a week left in the competition and a world of possibilities ahead!
Thanks Observable Team! Framework is AMAZING! ![]()
