Here’s a fun map that I made recently:

> **[Electoral Results Tilegram](https://observablehq.com/@mcmcclur/electoral-results-tilegram)**
>
> Electoral Results Tilegram Here are the electoral votes for the 2020 presidential election represented as a tilegram. The shapes and sizes of the states are quite distorted but the areas of each state is proportional to the number of electoral votes...

I embedded that map to show to my statistics student here:

> **[Electoral Results Tilegram](https://marksmath.org/classes/Fall2020Stat185/demos/electoral_tilegram.html)**

Both versions work consistently great on my laptop, _but_ they behave differently on my iPhone. In particular, the tooltips don’t work on the iPhone. I’m not sure why but I do wonder if this is a bug in the embedding process.
