Right now I am exploring the possibilities. It’s a bootstrap problem : I am applying our recommandation approach for visualization to the problem of visualizing our visualization catalog (no headache yet ?).
When it’s done I’ll probably try to publish something, but I can’t share all of it in the meantime 
That is definitely one of the usage we want to promote. Detect lacks in the insight satisfaction by the current visualization types available, give an idea about insights compatibility, etc.
My opinion is that the different interactions allowed by the visualisations change the way the user explore the catalog, so even two visualizations satisfying the same insights might have to be compared to see which one is the more useful.
I am. But we are re-designing these icons because we don’t own it.
Until now, we didn’t share our work so it was just a way to visualize easily and I added some icons (Variation, Extremum & Discrete + some widgets).
But in the long run, it will be simpler to have our own design.
Then I will replace the circles in my network by these icons
