Hi all,

I already opened a Topic about how much I miss the DataTable and its capabilities for data-processing on the fly and pre-investigating the data attributes (columns); as we teach it to the students always start with the single attributes first and their distributions and then look for relations between them.

It seems that it has no a high priority porting it to the new system, which I can understand since there is a lot to take care of with the new system.

To the best of my knowledge the DataTable is not Open Source, since it is part of the old Website. Therefore my petition, maybe it is better to opensource the DataTable, else it will disappear once the old system will be closed.

Best

If the purpose is for educational support, I think would be relatively straightforward simply to write some Observable 2 / Plot functions for generating similar interactive components. Would have the advantage that they could be more customisable to your pedagogic context.
