Hey folks, sorry for the false alarm here! I figured it out. the problem was traced to [https://mybrowseraddon.com/access-control-allow-origin.html](https://mybrowseraddon.com/access-control-allow-origin.html) plugin I used in crome to test NB embeddings. All good now after I disabled it. Whew!
