Description
Whether you’re a data analyst, a data scientist or a developer, it’s extremely helpful to know some SQL so you can effectively pull data from a database. For many, learning SQL can be difficult because it is very different from common programming languages like JavaScript, Python, or R. Not to worry – our very own Paul Buffa will make SQL easy to learn and perhaps even fun.

In this course, you’ll learn the SQL basics for pulling and wrangling data, including: the main SQL clauses (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, GROUP BY, etc.), aggregation functions, joins, window functions and how to impress your friends and colleagues with lightning fast queries.

Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who wants to learn the basics of working with SQL. It is geared toward those who work with data and may have some familiarity with SQL, but have not written many queries. To note, we’ll also get into more advanced topics that can be helpful for even the experienced SQL user.
