# Maplibregl

Hello everyone.  
I am trying to use MapLibre-gl in Observable. And, I’m not able to reproduce [this simple example](https://maplibre.org/maplibre-gl-js-docs/example/add-a-marker/) which allows to display a marker. My tests are in this notebook. I don’t understand why the marker is displayed under the map:

You’re missing the stylesheet. Add the following in a separate HTML cell:

```auto
<link href="https://unpkg.com/maplibre-gl@2.1.9/dist/maplibre-gl.css" rel="stylesheet" />

```

Thanks for this post @neocarto and for your [Hello MapLibre notebook](https://observablehq.com/@neocartocnrs/hello-maplibre) as well! I’ve been using free raster tiles from OpenStreetMap via Leaflet for quite some time but have wanted to try some vector tiles. Your work inspired me to do so:
