# How comfortable is outside?

Hi there,

I live in an area where the temperature and humidity levels can change dramatically from one day to another, particularly during the summer. I have always found the dew point to be a more effective metric to determine how comfortable I am going to be outside. So, I built [a thing](https://observablehq.com/@drio/is_it_nice_out_there).
