# Gallery thumbnail incorrect for Chinese characters.

I believe it’s a problem of the snapshot daemon without proper Chinese font.

Google Noto Fonts could be a safer choice. ([Noto Home - Google Fonts](https://www.google.com/get/noto/)) More specifically, Noto CJK Fonts. ([Noto Use - Google Fonts](https://www.google.com/get/noto/help/cjk/))

Maybe Emojis also need to be seen on thumbnails, but I don’t have any choices good enough (Apple certainly is not happy with the universal Apple Color Emoji fonts).

We just updated our thumbnails to support CJK fonts using fonts-noto! Thanks for the suggestion. Let us know if it’s working well for you.
