If it only happens in Chrome on a MacBook display, I suspect you’re running into this Chrome bug (previously discussed here).
Workarounds:
- use Firefox or Safari
- disable either:
chrome://flags/#site-isolation-trial-opt-outchrome://flags#enable-gpu-rasterization
