I often find myself using and creating colour palettes for use in Observable pages. The documentation for various colour schemes and interpolators via D3 is pretty good, but I found less on what the implications are for various colour mixing choices.

So I thought I’d create a page that explores a range of colour mixing approaches suitable for Observable, that variously use [D3](https://observablehq.com/@d3/working-with-color), [spectral.js](https://github.com/rvanwijnen/spectral.js), [mixbox](https://github.com/scrtwpns/mixbox) and [chroma.js](https://github.com/gka/chroma.js) and show how they might be applied.
