# Can’t like notebook

I think I’ve found a bug. I liked [this notebook](https://observablehq.com/@tomfevrier/kiwis) but discovered that upon reload, my like had been removed. The API request to submit the like seems to be succeeding, but the like is not actually recorded.

Hi @j-f1, we have 30 second cache on published notebooks if you refresh immediately after you like a notebook. I’m not sure how fast you were liking and refreshing but let us know if your likes are not working. Thanks

I tried liking, waiting for a couple of minutes, then reloading and I’m still able to reproduce the issue.

I am still able to like, but I had the issue you describe before. Seems to happen most when my internet quality is degraded
