Hi there,

I am trying to recreate the analysis in the Visualizing the NYT Mini Crossword notebook. Even after following the detailed instructions to grab my NYT-S cookie, I couldn’t get the script to run. The error is “data = TypeError: Failed to fetch.” Any insight on this / does everyone else’s cookie continue to work? Thanks!

The default data that you see is being loaded from an attachment. The issue that you’re seeing appears to be an issue with the NY Times API that we use to get the data. It’s an undocumented public API that traditionally has worked, but perhaps they’ve recently changed something.
